Team from Ningbo University Faculty of Medicine Wins "Outstanding Solution Award" at the 14th China Innovation Challenge

On December 10, at the on-site competition of the 14th China Innovation Challenge (Ningbo Division), hosted by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and the Ningbo Municipal Finance Bureau, and organized by the Ningbo Productivity Promotion Center, a team from the Faculty of Medicine of Ningbo University stood out among numerous participants with their project "Research on Intelligent Monitoring and Precision Prevention and Control Technology for Disease Vectors Across All Domains," winning the "Outstanding Solution Award (Intelligent Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence)."

The award-winning project, "Research on Intelligent Monitoring and Precision Prevention and Control Technology for Disease Vectors Across All Domains," was completed by the team led by Professor Liu Xinmin from the Faculty of Medicine at Ningbo University. The project deeply integrates intelligent algorithms, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine, aiming to build a comprehensive and intelligent system for monitoring and controlling disease vectors. By leveraging big data analytics and machine learning models, the solution enables real-time tracking, risk assessment, and precise intervention for disease vectors, providing an efficient and intelligent solution for public health prevention and control, with significant scientific value and social relevance.

In recent years, the Faculty of Medicine has continuously strengthened interdisciplinary development in artificial intelligence, big data, and medicine. Moving forward, the Faculty of Medicine will continue to uphold the spirit of innovation, deepen the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and explore breakthroughs in the field of intelligent health technology, contributing to the advancement of medical and healthcare endeavors into a new era of intelligence and precision.
